Shipping Policy

Alt Mart currently delivers Pan-India, with a few exceptions that are currently available only in Hyderabad (as indicated in the website menu).

Pan India:

We charge a shipping fee of Rs 60 per item. However, you can save by shopping more from a specific brand:

  • Single item – Rs 60
  • 2 to 5 items – Rs 100
  • 6 to 10 items – Rs 200
  • 11 to 15 items – Rs 250
  • 16 to 20 items – Rs 300

Shipping Time

  • Our products are typically delivered in 5-7 business days.
  • Certain vendors may have different delivery times due to the nature of their products. Please refer to the SHIPPING TIMELINES table at the end of this page.
  • Products are delivered Monday through Saturday between 8am to 9pm, except on public holidays.
  • Please note: Covid-19 containment zone restrictions may cause further delays.

Hyderabad Quick Buy Products:

We charge a Flat Rate shipping fee of Rs 150 for up to 20 items per cart within Hyderabad only.

Shipping Time

  • Hyderabad Quick Buy products are delivered within 72 hours.

Shipment Delays/ Lost Shipments:

We try our best to get the products to you in the promised timeframe and work with reliable logistics partners, but sometimes logistics carriers may experience unexpected delays and/or misplaced packages in transit. In case your shipment is delayed or if your order does not show any tracking information, please do the following:

  • Send an email to orders@thealtmart.in with your order number and we will get back to you within 48 hours.
  • If the shipment is delayed, we will notify you and do the best we can to get it to you soon.
  • If the shipment is lost, we will either send you a replacement at no additional cost or refund your money.

Damaged Shipments: 

For any damaged shipments:

  • Please notify us by sending an email to orders@thealtmart.in.
  • If you receive a damaged package, do not accept it and notify us. We will send out a replacement at the earliest or refund your money.
  • If you receive a damaged product, please notify us and provide the order number, images of the damaged product and any other information that will help us resolve your concern. We will send out a replacement at the earliest or refund your money.

SHIPPING TIMELINES

Please note that the shipping policies and times for some Vendors may be different from what we strive to provide our customers. We try our best to standardize them, but some Vendors may not be able to adhere to them at all times. We will try our best to get the products to you on time and resolve any issues with your packages as best as we can.

Returns, Replacements, Cancellations and Refunds

 

The Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which: 

(a) You are permitted to return or replace goods purchased by you, subject to a valid reason;

(b) You may cancel orders for goods purchased by you within a stipulated period of time; 

(c) A refund may be obtained for goods purchased by you, subject to certain conditions.

Please note that while Alt Mart would like to ensure that returns, refunds and cancellations are available to the users of the Website, the Company has to place certain restrictions on the same in order to meet its business, legal and contractual obligations. Please refer to the BRAND RETURNS table at the end of this page.

Products that can be returned/ replaced

(a) You receive a faulty or defective product

(b) You receive a product that is different from what you ordered

(c) You receive a product that looks different from how it appeared on the product page

(d) If the product does not fit well (size issues), you may be allowed to return or replace the product (Subject to Vendor’s Return Policy)

Products that cannot be returned/ replaced 

(a) If a request for a return/replacement has not been sent to orders@thealtmart.in within 2 days of receiving the product

(b) Items that have been worn, washed or soiled

(c) Certain consumable products like food and beverages, bath and beauty products

(d) Certain custom made products

 

Returns

  • Returning products would be subject to each individual Vendor’s Return policies.

Replacements

  • In case of replacement, it is subject to the availability of stock. In case that a replacement may not be available, we will refund you the full amount.
  • Replacement is subject to each individual Vendor’s Replacement policies

Cancellations

  • Only if your order has not been shipped by the Vendor from their warehouse.
  • We request you to inform us about any cancellations at the earliest via email on orders@thealtmart.in.
  • If the shipment has been dispatched by the Vendor and you still wish to proceed with the cancellation request, the shipping charges for dispatch and return will both be deducted from the refund amount (if Vendor’s Return policies accomodate a refund).

Refunds

We process refunds once the products have been received and verified by our Vendors.

 

For payments done through credit/debit cards or net banking, the refund will be processed to the same account from which the payment was made within 2 working days of our vendors receiving the products back and verifying them and agreeing that customer is eligible for a refund. It may take upto 7 business days for the amount to reflect in your account.

For cancellations made prior to dispatch, the money will be refunded to you within 7 working days after the cancellation request is confirmed by Alt Mart (post confirmation by the Vendor that the product is not shipped).

For cancellations made after dispatch of products and if Vendor’s Return policies accomodate a refund), the refund will be processed to the same account from which the payment was made within 2 working days of our vendors receiving the products back and verifying them. It may take upto 7 business days for the amount to reflect in your account.

When raising a request for a refund/replacement/cancellation, make sure to include the following details in your email to orders@thealtmart.in:

  • Order number 
  • Contact details
  • A description of the issue you are facing
  • Images of the product in case of a damaged or incorrect product.
  • The resolution you are seeking

Return, refunds or cancellations may also vary from brand to brand or seller to seller, in which case each such goods sold thereunder will have specific guidelines which will determine the terms and conditions related to return, refunds or cancellations. In each such case, the BRANDS RETURN POLICY may prevail over this Policy.
